The Detroit Drifting Co. cupped outer tie rod kit for the SN95 / New Edge Mustang is designed to allow for more clearance between the outer tie rod body and the steering knuckle/balljoint/control arm as the vehicles' leading wheel approaches full lock with a drifting angle kit. This allows for a little more steering angle capability while alleviating tie rod binding, interference, and clearance issues that are often found with standard "straight style" bumpsteer kits that were not designed specifically for drifting.
Speaking of bumpsteer, the cupped outer tie rod kit allows for bumpsteer correction just like any other kit as well. The spindle pin uses the factory taper, so no drilling of the knuckle is required.
Tie rod bodies are CNC machined in house from steel.
Kit includes:
-(x2) Cupped outer tie rod bodies
-(x2) high misalignment heim joints, trimmed and pre-installed to cupped bodies
-(x2) Tapered tie rod pins with variety of bumpsteer spacers
